UCSB Faculty and Instructor Resources

Subject Liaison Librarians provide assignment-based instruction sessions and library research workshops both in person or online. We can host your classes in the library or visit a computer-equipped room on campus. Your librarian will work with you to establish appropriate learning outcomes for the library session based on the assignment and on your students’ needs. In many instances these library sessions integrate hands-on search time to provide an opportunity for students to explore library resources with support from the librarian and course instructor.
