Robert Q. Lewis was a comedian, radio disc jockey, and host of numerous television and radio programs from the late 1940s to the early 1960s. This collection includes scripts, jokes and monologues written for his programs, correspondence, news clippings, music scores, and photographs that document his entertainment career between the mid-1940s and 1960. Programs that are represented in this collection include:

  • Arthur Godfrey Time (radio 1948-1953)
  • Arthur Godfrey and His Friends (television 1949-1953)
  • Robert Q. Lewis Show (radio and television versions 1948-1959)
