The UCSB Library is pleased to showcase these eye-catching student photographs.  Each year, the UCSB Education Abroad Program (EAP) invites past study abroad participants to submit memorable images from their time outside the United States.  This collection represents the winners and finalists from the 2017 contest. The nine images on exhibit were selected by staff and former EAP participants.  Through these photos, students share their experiences abroad with the campus community.

EAP is dedicated to making study abroad available to all.  Each year over 1,000 Gauchos study, intern and conduct research in more than 40 countries around the world.  It is an academic program that allows students to earn UC units to fulfill major, minor, and GE requirements.  Internships and research opportunities are available at many of our locations.   Students continue to receive their UCSB financial aid and additional scholarships are also available.  In many locations, the cost of studying abroad for the year is less than staying at UCSB.

Visit eap.ucsb.edu or South Hall 2431 for more information about UCSB's Education Abroad Program.
