Heather Nisen is a Subject Librarian, as well as the reference program coordinator and point of contact for the Library Award for Undergraduate Research (LAUR), in the Research & Engagement department of UCSB Library. She holds a M.L.I.S. from San José State University and a B.A. in English from The George Washington University. 

Heather’s work at UCSB includes providing research support to students and faculty and information literacy instruction to academic departments and programs. She is the Subject Librarian for Art, Dance, History of Art & Architecture, Philosophy, Political Science, Sociology, and Theater. View her research and course guides.
