The Research & Teaching Department provides in-person and virtual research support and instruction to faculty, researchers, and students at UCSB. We engage in outreach and communication to academic departments and campus partners, seeking opportunities to increase the use and effectiveness of Library collections, services, and spaces. The Department’s work supports student success, advances open research, and fosters campus collaboration.
