The Library Peer-Assisted Library Services (PALS) Program is a student-led team that focuses on connecting you with library resources and librarian services, and sharing information literacy knowledge and research tips at UCSB Library. We primarily serve undergraduate student populations. Here are some of our events and collaborations:

  • Pizza with PALS - We present topics on resources the UCSB Library offers, tips and tricks for grinding through midterms and finals, and information literacy. Pizzas and light refreshments are offered at this event.
  • Week of Welcome - Stop by the Library and say hello to us during UCSB’s Week of Welcome, the few days before the start of a new academic year in Fall.
  • Library Social Media Participation - We help the Library with creative social media engagement.
  • Peer-to-Peer Collaboration - We are interested in collaborating on your department's or center’s programming.
  • Drop in to receive research support with a trained PALS student mentor (coming soon!).
