This workshop is designed to teach you about the different avenues for publishing articles, manuscripts, and data. Additionally, the workshop will highlight resources and considerations as you start your publishing journey.
By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:
- Identify where to find key publications in your field
- Understand the publishing cycle
- Set publishing goals
- Distinguish the types of publishing models (traditional, open access, public, etc.)
- Navigate publisher contracts
- Locate publishing resources available to you through the UCSB Library
This workshop is open to all, but is of particular relevance to graduate students and faculty. Advanced registration is recommended (required if on Zoom).
