UCSB Open Source Meetup
UCSB Library Room 1312 is on the 1st Floor, Mountain Side, adjacent to the Learning Commons.
Are you experienced with open source software or hardware, or just curious about open source?
This month, we'll be joined by a panel of special guests: Trissalyn Nelson (Geography), Rich Wolski (Computer Science), and Chrissy Rissmeyer (Library) will tell us about their experiences building healthy, inclusive open source communities. We'll be back in room 1312 in the UCSB Library.
In partnership with UC's new Open Source Program Office (OSPO) Network, the UCSB Open Source Programs hosts a casual in-person open source meetup, usually on the first Wednesday of the month. Come learn about open source software and hardware through topical discussions and guest speakers. This is a lunch-and-learn event, so bring your lunch and we'll bring cookies!
Open to anyone (including students, faculty, and staff). Remember to bring your lunch.
Join our mailing list for monthly announcements about future events.
