This 6-Day UC-Joint Carpentries workshop series aims to help researchers get their work done in less time and with less pain by teaching them basic research computing skills. This is a hands-on workshop that will cover basic concepts and tools, including foundational R and Python coding, data management skills, and project version control with Git. The workshops series is designed for novices and you do not need to have any previous knowledge of the tools that will be presented at the workshop. This is a free workshop.
Participants will be encouraged to help one another and to apply what they have learned to their own research problems.
