This is a one day workshop on Thursday, Nov 9, 2023 on a hands-on introduction to the Esri universe.
ArcGIS Online supports geospatial data processing, analysis, visualization, and the cloud-based sharing of geospatial products. In this one-day, example-driven workshop, you will learn the components of the Esri product family, the four primary geospatial data types, secrets behind effective data visualization, and a unique way to share your scholarly work. Some knowledge of either is highly recommended (you may review a bit about each here). Together we will create an interactive online Storymap by using the same datasets that professional demographers and Gerrymanderers (aka ‘redistricting consultants’) use to manipulate representation in the US Congress.
