This event is an in-person, two-day, example-driven workshop on April 11 and 13, 2022 for an introduction to using geospatial data in R.  R is commonly used to perform spatial analysis and to generate map graphics in many scientific disciplines.  This workshop will focus on visualizing the two basic geospatial data types using sample data from NSF NEON.  This workshop will move at a quicker pace than our typical Carpentry workshops.  Knowledge of R and the Rstudio interface are required.

Dates:  This event runs on April 11 and 13, 2022 from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm, in-person

Prerequisites:  Introductory knowledge of working with data in R required.  Please work through the material of Intro to R on your own if you do not have previous experience with R or need a refresher.

Registration Period:  March 18 to April 8, 2022
