In this presentation you will learn the basics of copyright under U.S. Law, including:
- What is copyright? What does it cover?
- How does a creator get their work copyrighted?
- What is "work for hire"?
- How long does a copyright last?
- What is public domain? What is Fair Use?
This workshop is open to all, but will be of particular relevance to graduate students and faculty who may be publishing. Advanced registration is recommended.
