Join UCSB Reads 2024 and the Library's new Makerspace in celebrating the 8th Annual World Bookmark Day with DIY Bookmarks. Stop by the Fish Bowl by the Davidson Library entrance from 10am-5pm, while supplies last, and decorate your own bookmark. Help us celebrate our favorite reading companions for over 2000 years, the ever faithful bookmark.
The UCSB Reads 2024 selection is Your Brain On Art: How the Arts Transform Us by Susan Magsamen and Ivy Ross. This interdisciplinary book demonstrates how our brains and bodies transform in profound ways when we participate in the arts, even for as little as 45 minutes.
