Includes full-text of the Wall Street Journal and the Financial Times. Coverage in more than 20 languages.

Statistical data from Indian government and private sources: finance, agriculture, health, housing, transportation, and many other areas. Data is derived from documents, reports and policies from the states and national government of India. Information is classified into 30 major sections and includes census data.

ICPSR is a membership-based organization providing access to a vast archive of computer-based research and instructional data for the social sciences. The data holdings cover a broad range of disciplines, including political science, sociology, demography, economics, history, education, gerontology, criminal justice, public health, foreign policy, and law. The data and codebooks may be downloaded by UCSB faculty, students, and staff.

This is a restricted resource, accessible with UCSB netID, although there is some publicly available information.

Esri's ArcGIS Online provides access to a wide variety of demographic, environmental, and historical information displayed via a map interface.  Datasets available include census information from many different countries, detailed consumer data for the United States (Tapestry Layers) and other countries, near real-time traffic information for several regions around the world, and global soil and elevation datasets.

The ProQuest Statistical Abstract of the United States is the authoritative and comprehensive summary of statistics on the social, political, and economic conditions of the United States. This resource is a continuation of the Statistical Abstract of the United States, previously published by the U.S. Census Bureau. In print, the Statistical Abstract of the United States is a one-volume, comprehensive summary of statistics on the social, political, and economic organization of the United States.

The Roper Center for Public Opinion Research is one of the world's leading archives of social science data, specializing in data from surveys of public opinion. The Roper Center provides access to summary-level (aggregate) and micro-level (raw) public opinion data. While the data collection focuses strongly on United States public opinion, it also includes collections of micro-level European, Latin American (Latin American Databank), and Japanese (JPOLL) polls.

Data Citation Index indexes data sets from selected repositories around the world, and also enables the user to find data sets which cite a particular work.
