Voice and Visibility: An Asian American Women’s History Pop Up Exhibition
To celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage month in May, the students in Asian American Studies 131, Asian American Women’s History, will create a pop-up exhibition to showcase some of the primary source and archival material the students came across for their research papers. This exhibition hosted by UCSB Library is the culmination of a family and community archive project. This pop-up exhibition will reflect the 3-D materials organized around themes from the course such as war and empire, labor, activism, immigration, and culture among others.
