The British Film Institute’s complete Victorian Film Collection features the works by Sagar Mitchell and James Kenyon, comic film shorts, early large format films, films of Queen Victoria, everyday life in the Victorian and Edwardian eras including activities such as rugby, boat and horse racing, and gymnastics. video interviews and exhibitions allow researchers to explore developing film technologies; early popular genres such as phantom rides, trick films and factory gate films; and early production companies.
