The Physician's Desk Reference (PDR) (print copy at Sciences Reference Desk RS 75 .P5) is a commonly used reference tool for information on prescription drugs. While the Web version of the full PDR is available only to licensed health care professionals, its publishers have made available the PDRhealth site, which includes descriptions of diseases and drug information, described in layperson's terms.
