The UCSB Library has been a complete depository for California State publications since 1972 and a selective depository since the 1950s. The collection consists of publications covering a broad range of topics such as water quality, air pollution, bilingual education, AIDS, welfare, the budget, annual reports from California state agencies, legislative materials, statistical information, crime, and health issues.
