California government documentsThe UCSB Library has been a complete depository for California State publications since 1972 and a selective depository since the 1950s.  The collection consists of publications covering a broad range of topics such as water quality, air pollution, bilingual education, AIDS, welfare, the budget, annual reports from California state agencies, legislative materials, statistical information, crime, and health issues.

Most publications can be identified through our library catalog or through our subject guides.  Most recent California documents are now available online.
