The UCSB Library collects selective publications issued by local area government agencies. These include publications on topics such as planning, environmental impact reports (EIRs), land use, beach erosion, local county and city budgets, and statistical information. Most recent documents are available online.
Documents in the Local Documents Collection can be located through the library catalog. They are shelved in a closed collection in the GIC and are available by request at the GIC service desk. Many of these publications can be checked out.
