Seeking Undergrads to Help Define Library Future

Future road signThe Library is looking for undergraduate students to participate in focus groups as we embark on a strategic planning process that will help define our future direction. We already have faculty, staff, administrators and graduate students who have volunteered to be a part of these focus groups. It is very important that we also have undergraduate student representation, since students are our biggest users! We are looking for 16 students total: 4 each to participate in the following 4 meetings:

  • Tuesday, March 4: 10-am-12pm
  • Tuesday, March 4: 2-4pm
  • Wednesday, March 5: 10am-12pm
  • Wednesday, March 5: 2-4pm

Students helped us define the elements of our new building before we broke ground on our construction project. Now we need students to help us define other elements of the Library and its programs! Each focus group will center on a different aspect of the Library.

If you are able and willing to participate, please contact Alan Grosenheider, Associate University Librarian for Organizational Development and Effectiveness, at 805-893-4098 or agrosenheider [at] library [dot] ucsb [dot] edu.
