The UCSB Reads Community Conversations continue this week - we hope you can join us! This year's Reads selection is "Moby-Duck: the True Story of 28,000 Bath Toys Lost at Sea..." by Donovan Hohn. Please join faculty and other experts in discussion of topics touched on by the book, such as plastic pollution, ocean currents, consumerism and disposables, science and the media, and global trade.
The last conversation will be on Thursday, March 1 at noon in the Group Commons Room, Davidson Library, 1st floor. Talks will also be held in various public libraries. The attached flyer lists dates, times, and locations.
Hohn will be on campus for a free talk on Monday, March 5 at 8pm in Campbell Hall.
