UCSB Library now has access to BrowZine, a service that lets you browse the complete issues of e-journals that the Library subscribes to, just as if you were flipping through the pages of a physical copy.

This service is available on the web or through a mobile app  to all UC Santa Barbara students, faculty, and staff.

BrowZine allows you to customize a personal bookshelf with your favorite journals and receive notifications for new issues and publications in your fields of interest.

You can scan tables of contents, save articles to read later, and download articles to read offline. Some publishers allow you to open articles as PDFs to highlight text and save information. You can also share article links with others and export references into bibliographic management systems.

The service is synced, so if you use the mobile app on your phone or tablet to find and save a journal or article, you will be able to read it on a computer later when logged into your account.

For more information on how to get started using BrowZine and setting up an account, please view our guide.
