New ScanPro 3000 microfilm scanners were recently installed: four on the 2nd floor of Davidson Library and one in the Music Library. Some features of the digital ScanPro 3000 machines are:
- high-resolution optics
- on-screen magnification
- advanced OCR technology in almost any language
- ability to create word searchable PDFs
Library staff can assist anyone with the new machines.
