Royal Society of Chemistry Open Access Vouchers Available

The Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), publisher of over 30 high-quality journals in chemistry, biochemistry, materials and related fields, has launched the Gold For Gold pilot program, which provides free vouchers to authors to cover the cost of making articles in RSC journals open access.  Based on a successful program in the UK, this program is being offered to US universities (including the University of California) which subscribe to the “RSC Gold” journal package.

For 2013, UCSB has 13 vouchers available on a first-come, first-served basis to authors whose articles have been accepted, but not yet published, in any RSC journal.  For more information, or to request a voucher, contact Chuck Huber, UCSB Chemistry Librarian (Huber [at] library [dot] ucsb [dot] edu)
