The Compact Disc Turns 30: Library Employee Sam Brylawski on NPR

Sam Brylawski from the Department of Special Collections contributed his insights to a story on NPR on the 30th anniversary of the compact disc.  First introduced in 1982, this musical format is just one in a long line of formats used to sell commercial recordings.  Brylawski is editor of the library's Encyclopedic Discography of Victor Recordings an online index of recordings made by the Victor Talking Machine Company.
