TRACFed is one of three resource websites of the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC) listed on the UCSB Library A-Z database list. The other two are:

  • Judge Information Center (JIC) contains judge-by-judge information of individual cases in TRAC data Warehouse.
  • TRAC is a free public web site that provides easy access to TRAC's published reports, spotlights, and other information, mostly about federal enforcement issues.

TRAC materials are made available via the Data Warehouse covering topics on Administrative Administrators, Civil, Community Context, Criminal, Federal Funds, Judges, Prosecutors, & Staffing Information and special reports cover broad issues such as, terrorism, immigration, civil rights, environmental enforcement, disparity in federal sentencing, tax collection, etc.  Information about the federal government's major investigative agencies: Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, Internal Revenue Service, Drug Enforcement Administration, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Department of Homeland Security.

Primary sources of data are culled from Executive Office for United States Attorneys, Administrative Office of the United States Courts, Office of Personnel Management, Internal Revenue Service, Environmental Protection Agency, Census Bureau, and other specialized agencies
