As part of UCSB Reads 2019, UCSB Library is bringing chef and immigrant workers' activist Diep Tran to campus for a discussion about Vietnamese cuisine and how it fits in with a broader conversation about immigrant cuisine in America, with an emphasis on labor and workers' rights. Diep will offer attendees a snack of bánh mì.  Moderated by Donna Anderson, graduate student in History, and Vice President of the Asian-Pacific Islander Graduate Student Alliance (API-GSA).  Space is limited and advance registration is strongly advised.
