This exhibition of Dominic Fredianelli's 27-foot mural, was created during his Artist in Residency October 30 – November 8, 2012 at UCSB's Interdisciplinary Humanities Center. Fredianelli is a graffiti artist from Houghton, Michigan, and was one of the subjects of the Emmy award-winning documentary Where Soldiers Come From. His work has been featured at the National Veterans Art Museum in Chicago. In collaboration with UCSB student veterans and UCSB art students, he created this mural, which has been displayed on the sixth floor of UCSB’s Humanities and Social Sciences Building, and at the UCSB Library. The Studio Art students who collaborated with Fredianelli are Natalia Cardenas, Ime Diaz, Jacky Martinez, and Bryan Orpinela.
