Linda McCann is a Reference Librarian in the Doheny Memorial Library at University of Southern California where she provides reference and research consultations. She teaches course-integrated instruction seminars on research methods that integrate electronic and traditional resources for humanities and social sciences and presents faculty seminars and workshops on using the Internet for research. She also creates web resources for instruction and research. She is the library liaison and selector for the Economics, Psychology and Sociology departments and is working on a research project on academic use of electronic publications for which she received a grant from USC Libraries in 1995/6. She has a MLS from UCLA and is professionally active in the Los Angeles Chapter of ASIS and in CARL.
