Excellent source from the University of Virginia for online social and economic data sets. Provides data from several major sources with the ability to select parameters to create customized data sets. Many include historical time series. Includes County and City Data Books, County Business Patterns, National Income and Products Accounts, Public Use Microdata Samples--1990 Census, Regional Economic Information System, SIC Manual, State and Personal Income, Uniform Crime Reports, World Rsources, World Table of Economic and Social Indicators, Bureau of Labor Statistics data, Curent Population Survey, General Social survey, National Election Studies, and Panel Study of Income Dynamics.
UCSD has a large collection of numeric social science data.
The collection consists of over 300
studies including public opinion polls, census data, economic time
series, election studies, social surveys, and more. In addition, there
are several sites on The Internet that provide free access to numeric social
science data.
