Political Database of the Americas
Product of Georgetown University's Resource Unit on Democratic Governability with support from the Unit for the Promotion of Democracy of the OAS (Organization of American States) and the Tinker Foundation. The database provides documentary and statistical political information on Latin America, including constitutions, electoral laws, legislative and executive branch information and election data.
Guide to Law Online: NATIONS OF THE WORLD
Law Library of Congress site which has an annotated hypertext list of World Wide Web servers, Gophers and other Internet sources that provide free access to legal information and/or information on the overnmental systems of virtually all of the world's nations as well as some associated jurisdictions that have legal systems which are at least minimally distinct or independent. Useful for locating information on chiefs of state and major officials, basic facts and statistics, human rights reports, and legal documents such as constitutions, codes. Information varies considerably by country and availability.
