The following are starting points for finding U. S. government information in the Davidson Library. If you need further assistance, contact Sherry DeDecker, U. S. Documents Librarian or a reference librarian at the main reference desk. More detailed guides to publications are in the reference area.

USEFUL POINTS TO REMEMBER

  • The Davidson Library is a selective depository of United States government information; we receive most information published by the three branches of government: executive, legislative, judicial.
  • Most publications are located in the Government Information Center, first floor north of the Library.
  • We are in the process of cataloging our publications into PEGASUS; some information previous to 1993 is still in the government publications card catalog in the reference area.
  • Much government information is available through the Internet; we can help you locate these sources.
