Beach Erosion Authority for Clean Oceans and Nourishment (B.E.A.C.O.N.)
An agency that deals with coastal erosion and beach problems on the Central Coast of California.
California Coastal Coalition
A non-profit advocacy group committed to restoring California's shoreline.
California Coastal Records Project
An aerial photographic survey of the California Coastline.
California Ocean and Coastal Environmental Access Network (Cal OCEAN)
A web-based virtual library for the discovery of and access to ocean and coastal data and information from a wide variety of sources and in a range of types and formats.
California Shore and Beach Preservation Association
An educational association interested in the coast of California.
Living with Coastal Change
UC San Diego; modeling the natural and anthropogenic erosion of the southern California coast in collaboration with the Kavli Institute. Provides an explanation of the processes and provides data sets and models.
Shoreline Preservation Fund (SPF)
A UCSB student fund used to fund efforts that will maintain the UCSB coastline through preservation, education, access, research, and restoration.
