This is about four men and women, each of whom tries in his or her own way to erase the pain of lost love. In the course, they sometimes give themselves up or sometimes hurt someone else. It is not a question of good vs. evil. They are simply subject to the caprice of fate and love that they cannot deny. They live and grow feeding on the love and pain they receive from or give to someone else. But none of them give up on themselves because of lost love or growing pains. Each clings to his or her dreams of love and success, trying to live their lives in the best way the know how. At the end of the way is not always happiness or success. But inevitably they realize that the road toward that end, the days of giving the best of themselves, were the most beautiful days of their lives, when they healed their wounds and recovered hope for the future
This is a story of four men and women who try to live their best ways to erase the pain of their past lost loves. Sometimes they give themselves up or hurt someone else, but they realize that the days of giving the best of themselves were the most beautiful days of their lives.

"Today, there are an estimated 250,000 North Korean refugees living underground in China. They escaped a food crisis and other persecutions at home that have claimed the lives of approximately 3 million in the past 10 years. The Chinese Government -- in direct violation of international laws to which it’s a party -- systematically arrests and forcibly repatriates hundreds of these refugees each month. Defecting from North Korea is a capital offense, and repatriated refugees face human rights abuses ranging from concentration camps and torture to forced abortion and summary executions. For a lucky few refugees, however, there is hope. A group of multinational activists has taken it upon themselves to create an Underground Railroad. Via a network of safe houses and escape routes, the activists -- at great personal risk -- help the refugees on daring escapes to freedom over hundreds (and sometimes thousands) of miles of Chinese territory"--Producers.
