The Gerald Oshita Memorial Fellowship
Established in 1994 in
memory of Bay Area reeds player, composer, and sound
recordist Gerald Oshita. Given by an anonymous donor,
the fellowship is designated for a composer of color who
receives, in addition to a residency, a stipend of $2,500.
