Western Books Exhibition

Rounce & Coffin Club of Los Angeles

The Department of Special Collections is currently displaying the 1999 Western Books Exhibition. This 58th Annual travelling exhibit is sponsored by the Rounce & Coffin Club of Los Angeles.

The exhibit showcases 30 outstanding examples of works produced by fine press printers and book artists using a wide variety of styles. Some of the presses include: The Bancroft Library Press, Castle Bress, Protean Press, Scripps College Press and the Wilsted & Taylor Publishing Services. This year there are many fine examples of letterpress printing in the exhibition.

The exhibit will be on display through December 31, 2000.
