	Astrophysical Data Service Provides access to astronomical abstracts since 1975. Cambridge University Press Handbook of Space Astronomy and Astrophysics A guide to these scientific fields authored by Dr. Martin V. Zombeck. The work is reproduced in its entirety. Major topics of interest include: radio, infrared, ultraviolet, x-ray, and gamma ray astronomy; cosmic rays; earth's atmosphere and environment; relativity; atomic and plasma physics; electromagnetic radiation; experimental astronomy and astrophysics; aeronautics; astronautics; statistics; and radiation safety. Encyclopedia Astronautica Details the history of space exploration with an emphasis on human missions to space. Brief astronaut biographies are given with exhaustive links to various spacecraft, boosters, rocket engines, fuels, space programs, and launch sites. The Nine Planets: A Multimedia Tour of the Solar System An overview of the history, mythology, and current scientific knowledge of each of the planets and moons in our solar system. Physics and Astronomy (PACS) Classification Codes The Physics and Astronomy Classification Scheme (PACS) has been prepared by the American Institute of Physics (AIP) in collaboration with certain other members of the International Council on Scientific and Technical Information (ICSTI) having an interest in physics and astronomy classification. Sunrise/Sunset/Twilight and Moonrise/Moonset/Phase Gives the times of sunrise, sunset, etc. for U.S. cities.

Each entry includes a pronunciation guide, a short definition, a RealAudio explanation by an expert, and links to related terms. Some entries also contain illustrations. Life Science Dictionary More than 8,300 terms in biochemistry, biotechnology, botany, cell biology and genetics; also includes some terms relating to ecology, limnology, pharmacology, toxicology and medicine. Does not include common or exotic animals, but does have medically- and biotechnologically-relevant organisms such as bacteria, worms, fungi, and some plants. Virus Taxonomy Online This is the electronic version of the Seventh Report of the International Committee on Taxonomy of Viruses, dealing with the classifcation and nomenclature of viruses (orders, families, subfamilies, genera and species). There are 1,550 classified species, and a list of unassigned viruses with references. It is available in print at QR 394 .I58 2000.

The print version is available in the SEL Reference Area at TP 9 .E658 1991. Ullmann's Encyclopedia of Industrial Chemistry Details the science and technology in all areas of industrial chemistry, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, polymers and plastics, advanced materials, environmental protection and analytical methods. The online version is the 6th Edition; the 5th Edition is available in print in the SEL Refernve Area at TP 9 .U5 1985.
