Topics in Current Genetics is a series that provides up-to date reviews in cellular and molecular biology. Each volume is dedicated to a single biological phenomenon and summarizes its molecular and genetic underpinnings. Particular emphasis is placed on comparing the approaches and results in several model systems - from classical genetics and molecular biology to genomics and - where appropriate - bioinformatics.
