The Hand Press Book Database includes records for European printing of the hand-press period (c. 1455-1830) from the Consortium of European Research Libraries, whose 50 plus members represent national and university libraries in 16 countries. Records come from a number of national cataloging projects as well as individual libraries' databases, and represent a unified European approach to bibliographic description of early printed materials.
