Free Coffee in the Library

In Fall 07 the Libraries Outreach Committee started a free coffee campaign during midterms, dead week and finals week. The idea was to offer you a break from studying and give you a boost--after all, we know how hard exam time can be! The coffee was gone so quickly during the first hour of our campaign that we knew we were onto something good; the problem was, of course, $$$$$$.

Lucky for us and for you, we appealed to the Associated Students for help with funding, and they came through brilliantly. The A.S. Legislative Council offered to fund our coffee campaign throughout the quarter. Thanks to them, we were able to buy two extra-large coffee makers, so we can keep 200 cups of hot joe available until midnight.

Because we're all making an effort to conserve and recycle, we've named our campaign Bring Your Own Cup! Please bring a coffee cup with a lid and have some hot coffee during our next campaign.
