Extended Hours for Finals Week (June 7-14)
Regular hours for Davidson Library will be extended during Finals Week. After regular hours UCSB students, faculty, and staff can access the library by using their university IDs at the front entrance. Good luck with your finals!
Exhibit: Wireless Art Network
The Library is currently the location for a site-specific digital exhibition created by students Raymond Douglas and Chris Silva. Installed at the top of the circular stairs on the second floor of Davidson is a network device that enables Library visitors in the vicinity to view art on their computers and mobile devices.

SEL Collection Getting Ready to Move
When the Library Addition and Renovation Project begins in mid-June, we will be emptying the existing two-story building. SEL (Sciences-Engineering Library) materials are currently located in this section. While the majority of the SEL collection will be boxed and sent to a temporary offsite storage facility, where it will remain inaccessible during the project, a high-use subset will stay in the building. Patrons who rely upon SEL books regularly for research or teaching are encouraged to check books out by June 14 before they are relocated.
