Looking for a Student to Curate a Writing Exhibition in Library

The Library and Writing Program are currently looking for an advanced undergraduate or graduate student to work during the winter quarter on the curation of an exhibition of the writing process.

UCen Extends Night Hours; Alternative Study Space During High Construction Noise

Expanded late-night UCen hours were developed in consultation with students and the Library. The Ucen will provide an alternative study space to accommodate increased student demand for late night hours.

A new display in the Ethnic & Gender Studies Library spotlights Central Avenue, a historic and major north-south thoroughfare in Los Angeles, from the turn of the 20th century to today.

On Exhibit in the Library: Altered States: Diane Gamboa and the Aesthetics of Provocation

n conjunction with Diane Gamboa's Regents' Lectureship in the Fall of 2013, this exhibition of twelve silkscreen prints by the Los Angeles-based Chicana artist will explore the work of this artist as subaltern provocateur.

Additional Study Space Opened Up in Classroom 1575

In order to address the ongoing need for study space and seating while the Library is under construction, Classroom 1575 on the first floor is now open as a student study space outside of regular work hours.
