"Late Night Study in Corwin" During Finals (Mar. 15-18)

UC Santa Barbara Library and the UCen are again sponsoring “Late Night Study in Corwin” during finals week.

8th Floor Graduate Study Room Closed for Several Weeks

The 8th floor Graduate Study Room is inaccessible through approximately March 14 due to construction.

No Water in Davidson Library (Mon. Jan. 20: 5am - 2pm)

Due to construction work, there will be no water in Davidson Library on Monday, January 20 from 5 am until about 2 pm.

Due to construction work, there will be no water in the Davidson Library on Friday, January 3.

Planned Gas Shut-off in Library Tower (Dec. 19-20)

There will be no heat or hot water in the eight-story tower on Thursday, December 19 and Friday, December 20.

UCen Extends Night Hours; Alternative Study Space During High Construction Noise

Expanded late-night UCen hours were developed in consultation with students and the Library. The Ucen will provide an alternative study space to accommodate increased student demand for late night hours.

Perimeter Fence to be Erected this Week

Fencing is being erected around the Library this week to mark off the construction site in preparation for groundbreaking.

2-Story Building Closed for Renovation

The UCSB Library's 2-story historic building has been officially closed to the public. That part of the Library will undergo renovations and will not re-open until the Library Addition & Renovation Project is completed, two 1/2 years from now.

Library Building Project Featured in Museum Exhibition

Currently on view at UCSB's Art, Design & Architecture Museum is "Unbuilt UCSB," an exhibition that displays building projects and designs that were intended for the UC Santa Barbara campus but never constructed or have yet to be completed.
