Faculty, staff, and invited guests joined Chancellor Henry Yang and University Librarian Denise Stephens for an opening reception in the UCSB Library of the exhibition, The Emergence of the Bill of Rights. The exhibition features rare books and documents from the collections of Sara Miller McCune, SAGE, and the UCSB Library. Curators and professors Patricia Cline Cohen (History) and William B. Warner (English and Comparative Literature) spoke about the history of political debates that led to the emergence of the Bill of Rights as we know it today.
