The LAUC-SB Programs Committee was able to successfully present the major program, the Universe at your Fingertips Conference which was held on April 26th 1997 in the UCEN and the Davidson Library. This conference has become successful to the extent that it occupies most of the time of the Programs Committee and tends to involve almost all librarians at the Davidson Library. Nevertheless, this conference, as the ones before, was successful netting an income to the Friends of the Library of $3,355.00, some of which has been rolled over into the Professional Development Committee to help defray costs of Professional Development Travel for the upcoming fiscal year. This was the one major program that was sponsored by the committee.
