8. Program, Towards a Library of the 21st Century presented by Prof. J. C. Nyiri, Visiting Professor, Philosophy Dept. (August 2, 1996)

9. Program on Thesaurus construction and use - with current technologies presented by Linda Hill, who is working with the Alexandria Project during the Summer of 1996, holds a NASA-funded position as senior research scientist with the University of Maryland, College of Library and Information Services, and works with the federal government through the Center of Excellence in Space Data and Information Sciences at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center.
