Minutes: Business Meeting Minutes to be approved at next LAUC-SB business meeting. All minutes are posted on the web site.

CAAR (Nerea LLamas) Arts librarian search is progressing. Letters of reference have been requested for the Fellow position.

CAP (Lynne Hayman) Committee has been working on four points as
possible recommendations for the review process next year:
1. Designing a form to be used for secondary reviewers.
2. Compiling the complete list of relevant documentation for the web site.
3. Updating the checklists.
4. Want to have meetings with the review initiators and the review officers to go over the review process.

Program (Sylvia Curtis) Upcoming program with librarians from UCSB, Westmont, SB Public and SB City College. The topic will be a survey and discussion of the each library's strategies for referrals, cooperative use by students and others, such as those researching genealogy issues, etc.

W.O.M. (Welcoming, Orienting and Mentoring) Sandy Lewis introduced a proposal to amend LAUC-SB bylaws to make W.O.M. a subcommittee of CAAR. The draft was approved and will be presented at the next business meeting.

The next LAUC-SB business meeting will be Tuesday, February 1, 9:00 a.m. Attendees of the ALA midwinter meeting are invited to share information from the conference, as well as anyone who would like to share information about  their recent professional activities.
