| LAUC-SB Laptop Policy(1) LAUC-SB has two laptops available for the use of members. The laptops shall be used to support professional activities. (2) Priority is given to use for conferences, workshops, meetings, and similar occasions. (3) Scheduling is done by LAUC-SB members via CS&T. (Each laptop has an agenda in CS&T.) In addition, laptop users should sign the check-out sheet (stored with the laptops) when they take one of the laptops and likewise indicate when they return it. (4) The laptops may be used for up to a week at a time, and renewed for a week at a time, subject to negotiation among LAUC-SB members and in consideration of priority usage as stated in no. 2 above. (5) The laptops are kept in Bev Ryan's office in the bottom drawer of the file cabinet. The office is accessible with the internal master key. Please knock first! (6) Technical or scheduling problems should be reported to the LAUC-SB Secretary (but see no. 7). (7) It is the responsibility of the current user to get any necessary technical support from pchelp. LAUC-SB members should peruse the easy-to-read accompanying manual in order to trouble-shoot on their own. Members may also ask Sylvia Curtis or Susan Moon for assistance. (8) Individual document files are to be removed from the hard drive prior to returning a laptop.
