Minutes of the LAUC-SB Executive Committee Meeting
February 26, 2001
Davidson Library, 2nd floor conference room
Present: Sylvia Curtis, Sherry Dedecker, Andrea Duda, Carol Gibbens,
Janet Martorana, Beverly Ryan. Eunice Schroeder sent regrets.
1. There are questions about changes to procedures and LAUC's historic
role in shared governance based on the new MOU. The Executive Board
would like to meet with the university librarian about LAUC's role considering
the APM, MOU, and our local procedures. Sylvia will invite Sarah to a meeting.
2. Committee reports:
CAAR: The committee for the Middle Eastern Studies position will
meet next week.
Program committee: The digitizing committee is preparing programs
for May and the fall
3. LAUC will meet with Martie Levy on March 9 at 9:00 about capital
planning issues.
