Minutes of the LAUC-SB Executive Committee Meeting
October 30, 1998
Meeting convened at 10:00 am
Sherry DeDecker (chair), Janet Martorana (vice chair/chair-elect), Sylvia
Curtis, Lyn Korenic, Nerea Llamas, Gary Colmenar (secretary)
Agenda
1. Discussion of the agenda for the November 5 business meeting.
J. Martorana will give the report instead of S. DeDecker. A handout of the
Agenda was distributed.
2. Review of questions for the University Librarian candidates and
suggestions to the EVC.
Action: S. DeDecker will email the list to LAUC-SB for comments.
S. DeDecker will also email EVC Nagel a list of qualities and issues the
librarians deemed important for the EVC and the search committee to
acknowledge.
3. CAAR
Sylvia talked to D. Bankhead about notifying LAUC-SB at the same time
library position announcements are posted.
